I talked with a friend of mine this evening. We have been friends for about 5 years. For most of that time she has really been through the ringer. It has been one trial after another. It seemed like there was never going to be an end to it. She didn't know how much more she could take. I kept telling her she just needed to keep putting one foot in front of the other. (Much easier said than done!) She did, even though solutions to her problems seemed impossible. Then one day, everything changed! The impossible happened! (It is amazing to me that the whole time she was battling to stay a float, Heavenly Father was working out the details of her miracle and preparing her to be ready for it.)
It was an amazing experience to walk that road with her. I feel it an honor and a privilege to have witnessed that miracle in her life. I am still reeling from it all. I keep telling her how very excited I am for her....and I keep repeating myself because it continues to get better and better! I watched (and am watching) the impossible happen in her life.
God is a God of miracles, yesterday, today and forever! And yet no matter how many times I witness them in mine or other's lives, I find myself with the same level of awe.
